Target Audience
This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of gastroenterologists and other healthcare providers involved in the care of patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).
Educational Objectives
After completing this activity, the participants should be better able to:
Describe the relevance of mucosal healing and/or other clinical goals as a target for therapy
Evaluate and treat patients with active IBD who are primary nonresponders to TNF antagonists
Identify the role of newer therapies, dosing forms, and treatment routes in the contemporary treatment paradigm for IBD
