Goal Statement

This activity has been designed to encourage the application of the latest advances in evidence-based medicine to achieve improved outcomes for the patients affected by IBS.

Target Audience

The live meeting series will target primary care providers (PCPs) and allied health professionals.

Educational Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:

Apply evidence-based diagnostic criteria to evaluate patients presenting with symptoms of suggestive of IBS.

Identify patients with alarm symptoms who require further diagnostic investigation.

Incorporate evidence-based treatment plans for patients with IBS-C and CIC effectively into practice.

Incorporate evidence-based treatment plans for patients with IBS-D effectively into practice.

The live meeting series will target gastroenterologists, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners involved in the diagnosis and management of IBS.

Discuss evidence-based treatment plans for patients with IBS-D effectively into practice

Explain evidence-based treatment plans for patients with IBS-C and CIC effectively into practice

Incorporate evidence-based treatment plans for OEC effectively into clinical practice
